Services & Programs

The recovery program here at Joppa House has many aspects.  We show respect and love during this recovery process.  Each of us is different, and we take this into account for individual relationships with our residents.

Christ Based Recovery Programs

Treatment

Our treatment program is a minimum of 90 days, broken into (3) 30-day phases.  Each phase requires recovery work to be completed before advancing to the next phase.  Taking more than 30 days to complete a phase before advancing is at times needed and entirely up to you.   After completing all three phases, our residents convert to sober living for the duration of their stay at the Joppa House.

In House Meetings

We currently offer 4 in house recovery meetings each week.   These are mandatory meetings for our residents.

Monday        Life discussion meeting

Tuesday        AA 12 step study  (open to the public)

Wednesday 12 step/bible study

Thursday      Celebrate Recovery (open to the public)

Life Skills

Our residents learn or relearn how to do daily life activities successfully. While a resident at Joppa House, you will be responsible for:
going to work, cooking your own meals, laundry, household chores, financial budgeting, and many other daily life skills.

Programs

Each phase of the Joppa Recovery Program is built around Christ and a 12 step program.

30 Day Residential Care

As a resident of Joppa, you will attend recovery meetings, maintain consistent employment, and budget finances.  You will learn to be honest with yourself and others and create new relationships. You are developing healthy routines to live independently with a healthy structure and accountability.

Long Term Recovery

Each phase of the 90-day residential care you will be building for long-term recovery.  By developing a relationship with Christ that is centered around Him and your recovery.

Aftercare Advocacy

We advocate for all the residents to find Christ and to live a sober life.   Our residents are urged to continue giving back to Joppa House residents by attending open meetings and being of service when needed.
